Wellshire Behavioral Services has recently added Sandy Goldhaber, MSW, LSCW to our diverse team. She is a clinical social worker who has been practicing in the Denver metro area for thirty years, in settings including schools, medical offices, and in private practice. She especially loves working with school age children, adolescents, and adults experiencing life transitions. Her treatment philosophy is solution focused. She believes that finding ways to alleviate the distress that people come in to solve can be approached in many ways. Problems can be biological, psychological, social, situational, or rooted in basic value conflicts. Her job, together with the client, is to figure out the puzzle of the causes of distress and to find viable solutions based upon realistic possibilities, client strengths, and expectations. She and the client will figure this out together, including family and outside community resources where appropriate and mutually agreed upon.Sandy is currently accepting new patients.
